It’s an in-office day so I had to wake up at 5h15 to start work at 8. I had a rough yesterday evening and just want to go home and chill after work. But then my sister is really excited to try this Korean BBQ place so I don’t want to cancel even though I don’t eat in the evening (let alone something so heavy) and am really dreading having to take the 21h45 train home since trains only run every hour at that time of the day. I’ll probably get home at like 23h15. Then I have to skype with my mom for some dress fitting and I really do not feeling putting on a dress right now, especially after eating BBQ at an unusual hour. It’ll probably be 1am by the time I finish all my obligations for the day.
And I’ll have to be up early for work tmr too. There’s so much to do.
I’m just so tired. I feel so bad for delaying skyping with my mom and not wanting to eat with my sister but honestly I’m so tired I just want to go home and relax. Yesterday evening I dissociated (likely from exhaustion) and got really mean to my partner already. Today I just want peace :/

Вже більше 50 днів захисники міста героїчно тримають оборону, попри переважаючі сили супротивника та постійні авіабомбардування, артилерійські та ракетні обстріли. Маріуполь досі українське місто, що би Вам не говорила російська пропаганда. Ми щодня ведемо запеклі бої та стримуємо багатотисячне військо ворога, не даючи йому просунутися далі. На це дається ціною надлюдських зусиль і великих втрат.
Але нам потрібна Ваша допомога. Ворог взяв місто у кільце і тримає в заручниках сотні тисяч цивільних. У наших військових бункерах переховуються жінки, діти, в тому числі немовлята. Переважно родичі наших військових, яких розшукують росіяни. Без тепла, води, їжі.
Наші поранені щодня помирають у нестерпних муках, оскільки медикаменти, засоби знезараження, можливості обезболення давно закінчилися.
Українська влада домовлялася із росіянами про гуманітарні коридори, залучаючи до посередництва президента Туреччини Раджепа Ердогана. Однак російська сторона не дотрималася свого слова і всі зусилля виявилися марними.
Ми благаємо світ про допомогу в евакуації поранених, дітей, жінок а також тіл загиблих.
Спроб це зробити було надто мало!
Закликаємо світових політиків, громадських та релігійних діячів не бути байдужими до людей, які не з власної волі опинилися в пастці Маріуполя.
Зараз ми, військові, змушені не лише битися з переважаючими силами противника, але й дбати про понад тисячу цивільних осіб.
Не вірте обіцянкам Росії про «зелений коридор» для військових. Немає жодних сумнівів у тому, що це обман для знищення українського військового угрупування в Маріуполі без бою.
Ми не здамося і будемо битися до кінця.
Але нашої вірності присязі мало для звільнення Маріуполя.
Місту негайно потрібна деблокада.
Для цього нам потрібне важке озброєння. В силах країн ЄС та США нам його надати.
Важке озброєння для захисників Маріуполя врятує українське військове угрупування.
Маріуполь можливо врятувати. Ми готові битися до останньої краплі крові. Але ми маємо знати, що світ для цього зробив все можливе. Тоді ми готові зробити навіть неможливе для нашої країни.

For more than 50 days, the defenders of the city have been heroically defending themselves, despite the overwhelming enemy forces and constant air bombardments, artillery and rocket fire. Mariupol is still a Ukrainian city, no matter what Russian propaganda tells you. We fight in fierce battles every day and hold back thousands of enemy troops, preventing them from advancing. This is at the cost of superhuman efforts and great losses.
But we need your help. The enemy took the city in a ring and is holding hundreds of thousands of civilians hostage. In our military bunkers there are women, who’re hiding with children, including babies. Mostly relatives of our military, who are wanted by the Russians. Without heat, water, food.
Our wounded die in unbearable torment every day, because medicines, disinfectants, and anesthesia are long over.
Ukrainian authorities have negotiated humanitarian corridors with the Russians, involving Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. However, the Russian side did not keep its word and all the efforts were in vain.
We beg the world for help in evacuating the wounded, children, women and the bodies of the dead.
There were too few attempts to do so!
We call on world politicians, public and religious figures not to be indifferent to people who have fallen into the trap of Mariupol against their will.
Now we, the military, are forced not only to fight the overwhelming forces of the enemy, but also to take care of more than a thousand civilians
Do not believe Russia’s promises of a “green corridor” for the military. There is no doubt that this is a hoax to destroy the Ukrainian military group in Mariupol without a fight.

The way the russians routinely walked the streets in the evenings, shooting at houses and everything they could hit, so my friend and her family would just spend hours lying on the floor in the corridor with knives in their hands (“just in case some russians entered the house and we could try to take them with us”), and days unable to go outside, with no running water and dwindling food supplies.
The way, when russians were retreating, they set their slightly damaged rocket launching system on fire, and the missiles went flying everywhere in the surrounding area. Including the house my friend was in. They got incredibly lucky that it didn’t explode.

My pho joint downtown has been closed 😭 that was the only edible Vietnamese food place within a distance that can fit into my lunch break 😭😭 It’s pan-Asian but has surprisingly good pho & my favourite dessert that’s quite hard to come by.
En plus it’s been there since as far as I remember and I have such good memories of going there during my internships or when I was new to Canada and that was the only pho place I knew 😭
In my previous jobs, my managers were nice but oh gosh the benefits and pay were pathetic. Like way below industry pathetic. And the work is poorly organised.
Now this company is good, and pays properly. But then I’m terrified of my boss who doesn’t spend time training or explaining things to me while expecting me to just Know and sound condescending af when I ask questions or get something wrong. I don’t think I’ll even pass the probation period. He seems to think I’m very stupid and definitely incompetent.
